‘Haptic Path’ is the only Israeli brand, which was presented at the Ethical Fashion Show in Berlin on 16-18 January 2018.

While the ethical fashion concept is still a rare bird in Israel, the environmentally friendly movement is gaining more supporters worldwide especially in Germany. Nina Skibnevsky, Designer and Founder of the ‘Haptic Path’, presented her collection for the first time at Ethical Fashion Show. Nina is the most ardent Advocate of slow fashion and mindful consumerism.

‘At ‘Haptic Path’ we believe that ethical fashion can make the world a better place to live” – states Nina, – ‘We make modern, casual yet elegant clothes for men and women from hemp – the most environmentally friendly fiber’.

Hemp fabric is 100% natural, hypoallergenic, breathable and provides 90% UV protection. At the same time, the hemp plant does not drain soil, uses less water and grows faster than cotton and doesn’t need pesticides.

Nina gets inspiration for her minimalistic design and clean lines from Japan and long journeys to remote parts of the world.

‘I promote the slow fashion idea because I believe that small business can make the difference: we can ensure that ethical and fair trade principles are applied in our production process and minimize the footprint by using best eco-friendly fabrics and minimizing waste. I am concerned with reckless consumerism and fast fashion industry constantly polluting our planet. And I am very happy to see that I am not alone,’ – adds Nina.

Wearing Haptic Path is a statement. Hemp is cool to wear in the summer and warm in winter. It is strong and soft, fits body, skin, and mind. Feels like home.
